Dr. Heather Appel

Dr. Heather Hull Appel graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in June 2002. She is a 1995 graduate of Miami University and also received a degree in Dental Hygiene from Sinclair Community College in 1998. Dr. Appel has completed significant training at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry in order to master the CEREC technology and become part of the cerecdoctors.com mentor group. She loves being able to design and create beautiful crowns in one visit for her patients. Dr. Appel is currently serving on the board of the Ohio State Dental Alumni Society as well as maintaining membership in the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and Columbus Dental Society.

Dr. Appel enjoys her role as a mother and enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with her family. She began cycling in 2013 and participates in Pelotonia each summer to raise money for cancer research. Dr. Appel resides in Worthington with her husband, Jeff, and their 2 children.

Dr. Kellye McGlumphy

Dr. Kellye McGlumphy grew up in the Columbus area and attended Upper Arlington High School. Her interest in the dental field was sparked at a young age, as both of her parents are dentists. After completing her undergraduate degree in Movement Science at the University of Michigan, Dr. Kellye obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry.

During her time at OSU, she served as a student team dentist for the athletic department and was awarded the Carl O. Boucher Outstanding Student in Prosthodontics award. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and the Columbus Dental Society.

When not in the office, Dr. Kellye enjoys expanding and listening to her vinyl record collection, baking, and spending time at her family cabin in Hocking Hills. She loves to get out in the community and try new restaurants; so, please don’t hesitate to pass along a recommendation!

Dr. Elizabeth Caton

Dr. Elizabeth Caton, originally from Crooksville, OH, joined our practice in October 2005. She was a classmate of Dr. Appel’s, graduating from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in the summer of 2002. She received her undergraduate degree in Life Sciences from Otterbein College in 1998. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Caton served in the United States Navy for three years. She was stationed at the Marine Corps recruit depot on Parris Island, SC., and at the Marine Corps air station at Cherry Point, NC.

Dr. Caton has greatly enjoyed the addition of CEREC® technology to the practice. In addition, she loves to “sculpt” a smile, whether that means filling a tooth back to its natural shape and form or creating a more esthetic smile line in the front teeth. She appreciates the opportunity to help our patients live a healthy and comfortable life from a dental perspective.

Outside of the office, Dr. Caton enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh and their eight children. As a family, music, theater and other are some of their favorite pastimes.
